Jewish Young Adults (20s & 30s), along with their partners, are invited to a free private gathering at Collabüro on Preston near Carling. This evening with feature a festive reception in celebration of the holiday, with a Kosher wine and dessert bar. Want to learn more about the wine? Ask our on site sommelier. In keeping with Rosh Hashanah customs, the program will include a Shofar blowing and an optional alternative service. This optional program, developed by local educator Michael Kent, is inspired by the model of Jewish youth groups, allowing participants to reflect and share on the themes of the Rosh Hashanah liturgy. This gather is a not to be missed opportunity to mark the Jewish new year with new and old friends as part of a casual and welcoming community.
