Description: A Conservative, egalitarian congregation, Adath Shalom recognizes an equal role for men and women in aspects of ritual practice. Regular services are member-led and a visiting Rabbi provides leadership at High Holiday services. This year, Rabbi Shimshon Hamerman from Montreal, a respected spiritual leader and educator, will lead services.

Description: Temple Israel, Ottawa’s Reform synagogue will hold High Holy Day Services for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur. Our services feature both traditional and contemporary Jewish music. This year our music will be led by Dr. Tanya Sermer, a world class cantorial soloist who grew up in Toronto and now lives in Jerusalem and teaches ethnomusicology at Hebrew University.
