March of the Living

Please visit March of the Living Canada for the latest trip information.

The March of the Living is a two-week educational experience that takes place in Poland and Israel. Hundreds of Canadian students each year mark two of the most important dates in Jewish History.

On Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) students participate in a three-kilometer march from Auschwitz to Birkenau as a silent tribute to victims of the Shoah.

In Israel, students observe Yom Ha’zikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day) and celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day).

Students who will be in Grades 10, 11, and 12 during the school year are welcome to apply for this incredible experience.
