Welcome to J-Fellows

Each year, hundreds of young Jews in Ottawa are launching their professional lives and are seeking skills such as how to approach interviews, how to write a resume, how to stand out in one's chosen field, and more.

A unique excellence program

J-Fellows is uniquely aimed at supporting young professionals through skill development and opportunities for collaborative action, with focused and overarching goals: to learn, to lead, and to contribute to your workplaces and community. In short: we seek to provide you with a hands-on experiential learning opportunity where you will develop and grow a lasting network.

Participants will take part in five sessions over three months. Each session will be led by Jewish professionals speaking about work and leadership in the workplace. Participants will have the opportunity to benefit from their leading-edge perspective, personal insights, and best practices.

Alongside the general sessions, mentees will benefit from the support of a mentor in their profession, who will meet with them monthly for a one-on-one meeting and guide them to succeed in their field.

Participant Selection Process:

Ten participants will be carefully selected for the exclusive J-Fellows program after filling out an application and completing the personal interview. Please note that all candidates are required to attend at least four out of five sessions to complete the program.

We are excited to announce J-Fellows 2024 programming!
