Scroll down to learn more about our extraordinary evening speaker, Hillel Neuer and our popular afternoon entertainment, Sharon and Bram.
Montreal-born lawyer, writer and activist, Hillel Neuer is the executive director of UN Watch in Geneva. Influenced by his Canadian values and Jewish upbringing, Mr. Neuer is recognized as “one of the world’s foremost human rights advocates,” who according to the Tribune de Genève is “feared and dreaded” by the world’s dictatorships. Israel's Ma’ariv newspaper named him one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Jewish People in the World.”
Mr. Neuer is an internationally-renowned speaker who has testified before the United Nations and the U.S. Congress. He taught international human rights at the Geneva School of Diplomacy, and served as vice-president of the NGO Special Committee on Human Rights in Geneva. He has published on international law and human rights, and appeared on various TV news shows. Prior to UN Watch, Mr. Neuer was an attorney at the international law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, and clerked on the Supreme Court of Israel. The U.S. Federal Court cited Mr. Neuer for the high quality of his pro bono advocacy. He holds four degrees in law and politics, and is a member of the New York Bar.
About UN Watch: UN Watch is a Geneva-based organization that monitors the United Nations by the yardstick of its own charter, fights anti-Israel bias, and promotes human rights for all. Accredited as a non-governmental observer, UN Watch is a key participant in the debates of the UN Human Rights Council. UN Watch stands as a beacon of light and reason in an arena dominated by dictatorships, double standards and hypocrisy. Last year, UN Watch’s truth-telling message appeared in more than 600 newspapers and media broadcasts worldwide. For more information, visit www.unwatch.org.

Sharon and Bram have carried on together since Lois Lillenstein stepped aside from live performing in 2000. This incarnation of one of North America’s most popular family acts ranges from a “sweet and simple” folksy duo performance, to a larger production featuring members of the versatile Skinnamarink Band.
“We love singing with our audiences; the sound of families singing together and the expressions of delight on the faces of parents and children as they share the music, bring us deep satisfaction”, say Sharon and Bram.
For their years of work providing the best in participatory music for children and their families, Sharon and Bram have been inducted into The Order of Canada, the highest honour in the country.
“The cheers are THUNDEROUS! The public loves them. They really are Canadian stars” – Sid Adilman, Toronto Star
